Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 2026
Renzo ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes what personal data we collect when you use the Renzo platform, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data.
1. Data We Collect
We collect only the data necessary to provide the service:
- Account information — your name and business email address when you register.
- Company profile — your company name, website, product or service description, and representative name, used to personalise AI-generated messages.
- Contact data you import — names, companies, email addresses, phone numbers, contract dates, notes, and any other fields in CSV files you upload or records you create manually. This data belongs to you; we store it solely to deliver the service.
- Message and outreach history — outreach messages you generate, approve, or log, stored to provide contextually relevant follow-ups and activity tracking.
- Usage data — activity logs such as sync timestamps and credit consumption, used to power your dashboard and priority scores.
- Billing information — credit balance and payment status. Full payment card details are handled exclusively by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers.
We do not use tracking pixels, advertising networks, or third-party analytics tools. We do not collect data passively.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data exclusively to provide and improve the Renzo service:
- Generating AI-powered outreach messages personalised to your contacts and relationship history.
- Calculating contact priority scores and suggesting outreach timing.
- Displaying your activity dashboard and outreach queue.
- Processing payments and managing your credit balance.
- Sending transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts) via our email provider.
- Diagnosing bugs and improving platform reliability.
We never sell, rent, or share your data for marketing purposes. We do not use your contact data or message content to train AI models.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We share data only with the following infrastructure providers, strictly to operate the platform:
- Supabase — cloud database and authentication provider. All user data is stored on Supabase-managed PostgreSQL servers in the United States. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit, with row-level security enforced per user. Supabase Privacy Policy.
- Stripe — PCI-compliant payment processor. Stripe handles all credit card transactions. We receive only a payment status and customer identifier. Stripe Privacy Policy.
- Anthropic — AI model provider powering message generation. When you generate a message, relevant relationship context (contact name, company, notes, history) is sent to Anthropic's API to produce a draft. Anthropic does not retain this data to train models under their API usage policy. Anthropic Privacy Policy.
- Resend — transactional email delivery. Used to send account and billing emails. Resend Privacy Policy.
We do not share data with any other third parties.
4. Data Storage and Security
All data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Supabase in the United States. We use row-level security so your data is logically isolated from all other users. Data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher. Access to the production database is restricted to authenticated service accounts.
No security measure is 100% foolproof. If you become aware of a security issue, please report it immediately to privacy@meetrenzo.com.
5. Cookies and Session Storage
Renzo does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. We store a short-lived authentication token in your browser's session storage to maintain your login. This token is cleared when you close the tab or log out. No persistent cookies are set for tracking or analytics purposes.
6. Your Rights
You have the following rights over your data:
- Access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — you may update your account information at any time through the Settings panel.
- Export — contact data can be reviewed within the platform. You may request a full data export by emailing us.
- Deletion — you may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. We will complete deletion within 30 days of receiving your written request. Contact data you imported is yours; we retain no copies after deletion.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@meetrenzo.com.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you close your account, all associated data — including contacts, message history, and profile information — is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics (no personal data) may be retained for service improvement.
8. Children's Privacy
Renzo is a B2B platform intended for business professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us at privacy@meetrenzo.com and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Renzo after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We will not materially reduce your privacy rights without providing notice.
